I'm a Canadian children's author that has published colourful poetry books that are meant to help children express themselves when going through life situations they may find difficult to discuss. Missing You is a poetry book that was written to assist children in navigating their way through experiencing the loss of a loved one. It is followed by facts and questions that the reader can engage in conversation with the child. My second book, Stuck in the Middle follows the same format. It's a humorous poetry book of a girl who realizes she will be a middle child. Being able to write books such as these, gives a voice to the hard conversations that many people, culturally tend to not have with their children.
